No, road tax is included in this contract.
If you go over 6,000 miles in the 6 month period then on returning the vehicle you will be charged 0.40p+VAT per mile that is over the 6,000 agreed amount.
Yes, all Kia rental cars are insured with Comprehensive Insurance, subject to satisfactory customer qualification.
Yes, you can add a driver to your rental car, as long as they satisfy our usual insurance qualifications.
If you'd like to add another driver, please speak to a member of the Acorn Kia Rental Team at your nearest Acorn Kia dealership.
Yes, someone else can return your rental car but only if they're a qualified additional on the rental agreement.
No, you must have a full, valid driver's license in order to rent a car for business or pleasure.
As a rule, yes, you can take rental cars abroad. However, this is subject to additional paperwork and additional costs, and is at our discretion, so may not be available at all our Kia rental locations. If you wish to take your rental car abroad, please check first with your nearest Acorn Kia dealership.
Yes, you can drop your rental off early, but only during opening hours.
When you rent a car with Kia, please bring a valid driver's license and a credit or debit card in the hirer's name. We also need an additional ID, less than 3 months old, in the hirer's name to confirm the address. Please note that we don't accept mobile phone bills.
If you require a vehicle change for whatever reason, we may be able to accommodate you. However, this may be subject to additional charges if a larger vehicle is required.
If you do wish to switch your rental car, please speak to a member of staff at your nearest Acorn Kia Dealership.
Yes, security deposits are taken for all bookings by a debit/credit card. This is fully refundable on return provided the vehicle is in the same condition when returned.
Rentals must be returned with the same amount of fuel as at check-out.
