The Kia PV7 is the next major addition to Kia's all-electric PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle) range, sitting above the highly successful Kia PV5 and designed to deliver significantly more space, capability and flexibility for businesses, fleets and passenger transport.
Officially unveiled by Kia at IAA Transportation in Hannover on 14 September 2026, the PV7 is Kia's second dedicated electric PBV and is expected to launch in Europe, including the UK, during the second half of 2027.

Kia PV7 UK – What We Know So Far
The Kia PV7 is being developed as a larger, more capable electric van designed to cover a wide range of commercial and passenger applications.
Kia has confirmed that the PV7 will initially be offered in Cargo and Passenger configurations, with the wider range expected to grow substantially as additional derivatives and conversion models are introduced.
The planned PV7 line-up will eventually expand to 23 variants, including Cargo, Passenger, Chassis Cab and specialist conversion models.

When Will the Kia PV7 Be Released in the UK?
The Kia PV7 made its global debut on 14 September 2026 at IAA Transportation in Hannover, Germany.
Kia has confirmed that the PV7 Passenger and PV7 Cargo are planned to launch in Korea and Europe during the second half of 2027.
An exact UK on-sale date has not yet been confirmed.

The Long Range Cargo has a targeted range of more than 460km, equivalent to approximately 286 miles, under the WLTP cycle. Final UK figures are subject to homologation.
Kia has announced 71.5kWh and 96.2kWh battery options, depending on configuration.
The PV7 uses an 800V architecture and Kia is targeting a 10–80% charge in the mid-20-minute range when using a suitable 350kW DC fast charger.
The PV7 Cargo can offer up to 1,200kg payload capacity, depending on configuration.
The PV7 Cargo Long offers up to 6.1m³ of cargo space, while the High Roof version can offer up to 8.0m³.
The PV7 Passenger can accommodate up to nine occupants globally, with different seating configurations available.
Kia has confirmed that the PV7 will launch in Europe, including the UK market, during the second half of 2027. Business Contract Hire and other leasing options will depend on UK funder and manufacturer availability.
