New Kia PV7 Electric Van Revealed – UK Launch Expected in 2027
Kia has officially unveiled the new Kia PV7, its next-generation electric van designed to offer businesses greater space, flexibility and capability.
Revealed at IAA Transportation in Hannover on 14 September 2026, the PV7 will sit above the Kia PV5 in Kia's growing all-electric PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle) range.
The new electric van is expected to launch in Europe, including the UK, during the second half of 2027, with Cargo and Passenger versions planned.
Kia PV7 UK Launch
Kia has confirmed that the PV7 will launch in Europe during the second half of 2027, although an exact UK release date and pricing have not yet been announced.
With the PV7 still in development ahead of its UK arrival, further details are expected to be released over the coming months.

Kia PV7 Range and Charging
The PV7 will be available with 71.5kWh and 96.2kWh battery options, depending on the model and specification.
The Long Range PV7 Cargo is targeting an electric range of more than 460km – approximately 286 miles – under WLTP testing.
The PV7 also uses an 800V electrical architecture, with Kia targeting a 10–80% charge in the mid-20-minute range when using suitable 350kW DC fast charging.
Kia PV7 Cargo
Designed with businesses in mind, the PV7 Cargo will offer significantly more space than the smaller PV5.
Depending on specification, Kia says the PV7 Cargo can provide:
- Up to 1,200kg payload
- Up to 8.0m³ cargo capacity
- Capacity for up to three Euro pallets
- Approximately 550mm loading height
- Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability
The PV7 will also be available as a Passenger model, with flexible seating configurations and capacity for up to nine occupants globally.
Kia PV7 Leasing
UK Kia PV7 lease prices have not yet been confirmed, with Business Contract Hire and other leasing offers expected to become available closer to launch.
